This course is intended both for beginners and for programmers with some experience who want to learn effective programming with the use of web-oriented technologies on the example of exciting creation of their own strategic browser game.
The course is based on the use of PHP scripting language and MySQL database on the server side and HTML and JavaScript on the client side. Naturally, we will use the same computer as both server and client machine. The recommended prerequisite for the course is Windows XP/Vista with Service Pack 1 or higher or Windows 7.
For successful completion of the course you need basic programming skills in any language, experience in creating websites, a love for computer games and, of course, a great desire to develop computer games yourself.
